Benefits of Belonging to a Co-Op

My goal for months has been to get this Co-Op up and running. I'm all for saving money and many folks have never belonged to a Co-Op and don't know what to expect.

We live in an area of the country that let's face it, is sometimes hard to get some products and goods. If you are lucky enough to find something on line and order it, shipping is very expensive. This was an issue when I started milling my own grain. I buy grain in 50 pound bags and the cost of shipping the grain was more that the actual cost of the grain it's self.

Benefits:
 5% Shipping Costs
The goods are delivered to our area every other month and there is a 5% delivery charge. We must have an order over $500.00.

No Bulk Purchasing
You can buy a single jar of jam if you wish, there is no need to purchase in case amounts with this company.

You Do Not Have To Unload The Truck
Your order will be organized and ready for pick-up at the time indicated.

There will be a few days to pick-up so it's more convenient for you
Most Co-Op's you have to come at a certain time day or night to get your order. This can be an issue especially if it's at night. Since they are delivering to my home we can store the order for a few days making it more convenient for you.

As with everything there are some stipulations. We can only order every other month with Country Life. I will be charging a 13% fee, that will cover the 3% sales tax, 5% delivery, and 5% fee that covers my expenses. I pay the same price you do for items and do not get a discount for organizing the Co-Op.  I will contact you a few weeks before to give you plenty of time to look on line or at the catalog.

I am not particular on how your order as long as I get the order along with payment before I have to send it in. You can email me your order or
fill out the order form, a copy will be attached to an email for you to print out when I send out reminders. Add up what you want and add the 13% and mail me a check, or bring it to the Farmer's Market on Saturdays.

I do not know the exact day of delivery until very close to the date so sometimes that can be an issue. I will call you when I know the time your order will be ready for you to pick-up.

Join us in saving money and together we can grow.

A Co-Op is a group of people that pool their buying power to enable them to purchase goods at a discount. The main goal is to enable you to purchase high quality natural products at the very best price.

County Life Natural Foods, a division of Oak Haven, Inc., is a wholesale and retail distributor of natural, organic, and vegetarian foods across the Midwest.
Web site www.clnf.org

Deliveries to this area are every other month starting February 2016. You can go on line and look at their catalog to see what they have to offer.

If you decide to join the Co-Op you will not have to unload the truck, I will have your order ready for you to pick up on the day of delivery. There are no sales taxes or shipping charges, the price you see in the catalog is the price you pay for the item plus my fee. I do not get any compensation or discounts for running the Co-Op from Country Life. I will be charging a 10% fee to cover my costs which includes office supplies and the cost of renting the facility for the deliveries. I am still looking at options on facilities that are available. I will have details to follow.
