I hope these recipes and information will enable you to provide you and your family with a tasty and wonderful way to have whole grain in your diet at every meal. We started eating whole grain after being on a reduced glycimic index diet, we took off weight but needed to maintain our weight for the rest of our lives. That's been many years ago, and we still watch our weight but the whole grain has made it easier and it's a tasty way to good health.
Whole grain is not just for bread, anything you use flour in can be made with whole grain. The problem we found is, there are very few cookbooks that use 100% whole grain flour in their recipes for bread and no cookbooks using 100% whole grain flour in other baked goods. Whole grain is not heavy or bland, it makes light wonderful baked goods, that are nutritious.
We have put together a wide selection of recipes, from whole grain yeast breads, to quick breads and many breakfast items you will be thrilled to feed your family everyday.
